Santa Carolina reserve pinot noir, Leyda 2017

: A decent quality Chilean wine, with the typical flavours

of cherry and strawberry, this could usefully be served a few degrees cooler for barbecues,
A snip at £7.85 per bottle.

Graham Gooch 333 Shiraz Pays d’Oc IGP 2015

; I couldn t resist putting in the red partner to the

viognier! This has all the opulence and peppery spice that one expects from a well-ripened shiraz .
Like its partner , it is well worth £11.95 per bottle.

Prosecco Spumante Brut, Terre di Giulio N/V

; Prosecco is just perfect for Summer imbibing, and this is a very fine

Example. It is well-balanced and has delicate characters of honey and apple. Good value at £8.80 per bottle

Racovita Pinot Grigio 2017

; I would place a large bet that the majority of you had not tasted

Moldovan wine- I must admit I hadn’t! It was a genuine surprise to me as it has a ripeness and depth often
missing in more expensive Italian equivalents. A great Bargain at £6.10 per bottle.

Graham Gooch 333 Viognier Pays d’Oc IGP 2016

; Goochie , perhaps surprisingly, has been a great

lover of decent wine for many years, and has a good friend in the Languedoc who has produced this as a
joint venture, the 333 of course was his highest score in a test match (I think against India).
This is a classy wine with a bouquet of apricot blossom , and fans of Essex cricket should rush to try this!,
well worth £11.95 per bottle

Paredaux rose, Domaine des Lauriers, 2017

;This wine is 50% cinsault, 50% syrah and is grown on the fragrant garrique

near Pezenas in the Langudoc It is extremely pale pink in colour, and has good fruit ,coupled with a lovely
fresh finish.. Super value at £6.50 per bottle
